Interdisciplinary Programs (IPs) are open to all students at UW and may be taken in conjunction with any honours or general degree. You can use your electives* to add an IP course, option, or minor.
An option or minor is normally selected in second year, however, you're welcome to start taking the courses you'll need in your first year. It's also possible to add an option later, but satisfying all of the requirements before you graduate can be a challenge.
Post-graduate diploma programs are available in Human Resources Management, Peace and Conflict Studies; Sexuality, Marriage and the Family; and Women's Studies.

*Note: In programs such as Engineering or Architecture, which have very structured course schedules, you may need to complete an extra term of study if you wish to pursue an IP.
