
CHRISTOPHER ELLIS is one of Canada's leading Paleo-Indian specialists and has a particular interest in stone tool technologies and group mobility patterns. He earned his BA in Anthropology from UWin 1976, then went on to complete his PhD from Simon Fraser University. He returned to UW as a SSHRC post-doctoral fellow, Dean of Arts post-doctoral fellow and Assistant Professor. He is currently a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Western Ontario where he has also served as department chair.
