Classical Studies & Geography
I began university in the Faculty of Environmental Studies, although I always knew that I would do a joint honours degree with Classical Studies. However, as I began third year I decided that I wanted to make Classical Studies my main focus, and switched faculties from Environment to Arts. It felt really great to finally be in the program that I wanted!

Arts and Business (English Rhetoric & Professional Writing)
I never really had a grasp on what I wanted to do in high school. I knew I did well in science and math, but over and above that, I knew I loved the arts. I chose the Arts and Business program at Waterloo because it gave me a balance. I was able to explore my interests and get practical knowledge through required business courses. Fine Art - Studio Specialization
I began in the general arts Program. As far as classes go I enjoyed them. I liked the fact that Arts is unique from the other programs, where in a school so focused on engineering, math…etc, there was still a spot for someone like me with absolutely no interest in either.
