Practitioner and Academic Journals
Examples
The best place to start your literature review, both for practitioner and academic journals is ABI/Inform Global. This on-line service is available through the library to UW students on campus and from home computers (see the "Connect From Home" link on the libary's home page). To access ABI/Inform Global go to the library home page (http://www.lib.uwaterloo.ca/), select "indexes and databases", then "a" from the "databases by name" section, and finally, "ABI/Inform Global" from the list.
If you need help with any particular feature of "ABI/Inform Global" I suggest you contact Sandra Keys, the library liaison for the School of Accountancy. She has regular office hours in HH 177A on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Her email address is skeys@library.uwaterloo.ca.
I will be posting further details about requirements for the written report (e.g., length) and expectations for the in-class presentations in the next week or so.
