For those who want to find other accommodations on their own, there are
lots of places (motels, motor inns, hotels) in the Region of Waterloo. However,
none of these are within walking distance (the closest is the Waterloo
Inn, about a 10-minute drive). ALSO, the Waterloo Quilt Festival is an annual large-draw event that is ending the weekend that CANHEIT 2007
starts, so if you intend to pursue accommodations on your own, you will
need to make your arrangements "Real Soon Now".
